FOX ESS P100-6-H - energy storage system 6 kW / 10.24 kWh.
Description FOX ESS P100-6-H
FOX ESS P100-6-H is a complete energy storage system in which a 6 kW inverter and a 10.24 kWh LiFePO₄ battery are built into a single enclosure. It is a solution for anyone who would rather not assemble a system from separate components and reconcile them with one another. Battery voltage 51.2 V, weight 113 kg, dimensions 584 × 1009 × 197 mm, IP65 protection.
What an all-in-one design delivers
The classic approach to storage means a separate inverter, a separate battery, separate cabling and mounting, plus compatibility checks between manufacturers. Every junction in that scheme is both extra work for the installer and a potential 'whose fault is it' question when something goes wrong.
An all-in-one unit removes those questions together. The manufacturer has already matched inverter to battery, the firmware versions are verified against each other, and there is a single warranty for the whole device. For the owner that means a smaller installation budget and one point of contact for service.
The balance of power and capacity
Six kilowatts of power against 10.24 kWh of capacity is a balanced pairing. At full load the battery supplies energy for roughly an hour and a half, while in real use, when a house draws far less than its maximum, autonomy stretches across a whole night and into the morning.
For a typical private house six kilowatts is ample: lighting, refrigerator, boiler with pumps, washing machine, several sockets and network equipment all run at once. Difficulties begin when the scheme includes an electric cooker, an instantaneous water heater or a high-power immersion heater — those are best kept outside the backed-up group, or handled by the larger models in the range.
IP65 — install it where it suits you
An IP65 rating means resistance to dust and water jets. The system can hang on an exterior house wall, stand in an unheated garage or sit under a canopy — no dedicated plant room is required.
That matters particularly for an all-in-one unit: it combines inverter and battery, so it takes noticeable space. Being able to place it outside often decides whether storage appears at all in a house with no spare room. Both wall and floor mounting are provided — choose according to the wall structure, because 113 kilograms is well beyond what many partition walls will carry.
Chemistry and service life
The battery is built on LiFePO₄ cells. This chemistry was not chosen for domestic systems by accident: it is thermally stable, not prone to runaway and tolerant of deep discharge. For equipment standing next to living space, that is fundamental.
Cooling is by natural convection — there are no fans. That means no noise beneath a window, no filters to clean and no wearing parts. Compliance is confirmed by CE, IEC 62619 and UN 38.3 certification, with a 60-month manufacturer warranty.
Who this model suits
private houses with moderate consumption and no heavy electric heating;
solar owners who need to store the daytime surplus;
small offices, cafés and workshops;
anyone who wants a finished solution rather than a system built from separate parts.
To work out whether six kilowatts is enough for you, a list of the equipment that must run during an outage is all we need. Send it over — we will calculate the peak load and tell you if stepping up to a larger model makes more sense.
