FOX ESS P100-10-H is the most powerful model in the P100 range: a 10 kW inverter with a built-in 10.24 kWh LiFePO₄ battery in a single enclosure. Dimensions, weight and capacity match the smaller versions — the entire difference lies in how much the system can deliver at once. Voltage 51.2 V, weight 113 kg, dimensions 584 × 1009 × 197 mm, IP65 protection.
An honest word on power against capacity
This needs saying plainly, because it defines the whole usage scenario. Ten kilowatts of power against 10.24 kWh of capacity means that at full load the battery empties in roughly an hour.
That is not a design flaw but its purpose. The model was created not for maximum autonomy but for the ability to ride out a heavy peak — the moment when everything in the house that can run is running. Real consumption rarely sits at maximum: it spikes for minutes and spends the rest of the time three or four times lower. It is in exactly that pattern that the ten-kilowatt version comes into its own.
When this model is genuinely needed
Ten kilowatts make sense not 'for headroom' but for specific tasks:
a house with a heat pump and supplementary electric heating;
a site with three-phase equipment transferred onto single-phase backup;
a workshop where a machine tool, compressor and welder may run together;
a large house where backup covers the entire wiring rather than a critical group;
premises with professional kitchen equipment — ovens, combi steamers, dishwashers.
On expanding capacity
If your calculation shows that 10 kW of power is sufficient but an hour of autonomy is not, that is a normal and common situation. The answer is not moving to a different model but increasing the battery side of the system.
During design, therefore, clarify two questions straight away: whether your configuration supports additional battery modules, and what their total limit is. That costs less than discovering a year later that the whole system needs replacing.
The platform shared across the range
IP65 protection allows the system to be installed outdoors: on an exterior wall, in a garage or under a canopy. For an all-in-one unit that is especially valuable, since the device combines inverter and battery and occupies noticeable volume.
Cooling is by natural convection — there are no fans at all, and therefore no noise and no filters to service. LiFePO₄ chemistry provides thermal stability and tolerance of deep discharge. Certification covers CE, IEC 62619 and UN 38.3, with a 60-month manufacturer warranty. Mounting is wall or floor, allowing for the 113 kg mass.
How not to overpay
Here is advice that runs against sales logic but saves money: do not buy the largest model if your genuine peak falls short of eight kilowatts. The difference in power does not extend autonomy or improve efficiency — it simply provides headroom that may never be used.
The simplest way to check yourself is to measure actual consumption over several days rather than adding up appliance nameplate ratings. Nameplate figures almost always overstate the result, because equipment rarely runs simultaneously and at full output.
