FOX ESS P3-80-Plus - three-phase hybrid inverter 80 kW.
Description FOX ESS P3-80-Plus
FOX ESS P3-80-Plus is a three-phase industrial hybrid inverter rated at 80 kW. Four MPPT inputs of two strings each (eight strings total), a high-voltage LiFePO₄ battery in the 180–950 V range, charge and discharge current up to 240 A. Efficiency 98.5%, nominal output current 121.6 A per phase. Operation from -30 °C, IP65, 5-year warranty.
Eighty kilowatts: the base module for large stations
At this power level the unit is rarely installed alone. Standard practice for megawatt-scale sites is to build the required combined capacity from several P3-80-Plus modules connected in parallel with automatic load distribution.
This approach delivers redundancy without excess spending: each unit is used at full capacity under normal operation, and if one fails, the rest cover most of the load while repair is under way.
The modular scheme also simplifies future expansion — adding another unit as production grows requires no stoppage or rework of the part of the system already running.

134 amperes: a connection project
A maximum output current at this level requires an individual calculation of the station's entire electrical infrastructure — cable, switchgear, a transformer substation or distribution point, depending on the specific site.
We support the whole cycle: from the station's technical calculation to preparing connection documents and coordinating with the network operator.
Battery for an industrial cycle
A charge and discharge current up to 240 amperes with a 180–950 volt battery means tens of kilowatts of exchange power — far more than needed even at full production load. Charging never becomes the bottleneck.
For a site with shift-based work this allows energy to be gathered in the gaps between shifts and given back during peak load, reducing demands on the grid supply.
Industrial reliability
An operating range from -30 °C and a mass of 120 kilograms reflect the unit's purpose for unheated industrial premises and sites in northern regions.
The standard FoxCloud app shows generation from each of the eight strings separately; Modbus TCP and RTU are available for integration with commercial metering systems.
Night monitoring keeps the link alive around the clock, so battery discharge during dark hours appears on the charts in the same detail as daytime generation — simplifying diagnostics of each module's state across the station.
