Description FOX ESS P3-75-Plus
FOX ESS P3-75-Plus is a three-phase industrial hybrid inverter rated at 75 kW. Four MPPT inputs of two strings each (eight strings total), a high-voltage LiFePO₄ battery in the 180–950 V range, charge and discharge current up to 240 A. Efficiency 98.5%, nominal output current 113.9 A per phase. Operation from -30 °C, IP65, 5-year warranty.
Seventy-five kilowatts: generation beyond self-consumption
At this level, generation on a sunny day almost certainly exceeds a typical production site's daytime consumption, even accounting for charging a large battery. A project of this scale is worth costing not only as 'how much will we save' but also 'how much will we sell'.
The terms of selling surplus to the grid — tariff, contract with the operator, commercial metering requirements — form a separate block of questions best resolved alongside the station's technical design, not after commissioning.

114 amperes: the scale of a connection project
Current at this level is already a specialised grid connection project, not a standard procedure. Cable, switchgear and allocated capacity are calculated individually for the specific site, with margin for the maximum current of 125.4 amperes.
For sites with older electrical infrastructure this almost always means upgrading the distribution board before the inverter itself is installed.
Industrial endurance
An operating range from -30 °C and a mass of 120 kilograms reflect the unit's purpose: unheated industrial premises, northern regions, continuous operation for years on end without additional cabinet heating.
Intelligent air cooling switches on according to real thermal demand rather than continuously, extending fan life across the full declared service life.
Parallel operation and monitoring
For stations needing more than seventy-five kilowatts, units in the Plus series connect in parallel with automatic load distribution — scaling capacity and providing redundancy during servicing or a fault.
The standard FoxCloud app shows generation from each of the eight strings separately; Modbus TCP and RTU are available for integration with commercial metering systems.
