FOX ESS P3-15.0-SH - three-phase hybrid inverter 15 kW.
Description FOX ESS P3-15.0-SH
FOX ESS P3-15.0-SH is a three-phase hybrid inverter rated at 15 kW, the top of the P3-SH series. Three MPPT inputs, a high-voltage LiFePO₄ battery in the 100–800 V range, three CAN channels, generator support. Efficiency 97.9%, nominal output current 22.7 A per phase. Fan cooling, IP65, 5-year warranty.
Fifteen kilowatts: a third MPPT input and a fan
Unlike the smaller models in the P3-SH series with two MPPT inputs and passive cooling, the P3-15.0-SH gains a third independent input and active fan cooling — within the same 600 × 450 × 226 millimetre enclosure and 34-kilogram mass.
The third MPPT input allows the array to be split into three independent groups instead of two — relevant for roofs of more complex geometry, where a two-tracker scheme would already lose part of the output.
The move to active cooling is the price of higher power density in an unchanged enclosure. Fifteen kilowatts in such a compact format demands more intensive heat removal than purely passive convection provides.

Compact despite higher power
Fifteen kilowatts in a 34-kilogram enclosure is a power density competitors usually reach only by moving to a heavier chassis. For installation this means the same bracket and the same one- or two-person approach as the smaller models in the series.
The fan, however, means a certain level of noise under load — not critical, but noticeable compared with fully passive models. The unit is best placed in a technical room rather than right next to a bedroom. In practice that is almost always a boiler room, a garage or a technical recess — places where cabling to the switchboard and battery cabinet already runs anyway.
Battery and autonomy
A 100–800 volt range and three independent CAN channels allow several battery stacks to be connected at once — for a fifteen-kilowatt generation site this is often a necessity rather than headroom for the future.
Generator support covers long winter outages: the inverter starts it automatically according to battery charge level and stops it once the threshold is reached.
Control through FoxCloud
The app shows generation separately for each of the three MPPT inputs, battery state and household consumption in real time. Modbus TCP and RTU are available for your own automation, and night monitoring keeps the link alive around the clock.
Fifteen kilowatts in a compact enclosure is the most powerful model in the SH series for sites with a complex roof. Send us the panel layout: we will check whether the third MPPT input will realise its potential on your specific roof.
