FOX ESS P3-125-Plus - three-phase hybrid inverter 125 kW.
Description FOX ESS P3-125-Plus
FOX ESS P3-125-Plus is a three-phase industrial hybrid inverter rated at 125 kW, the most powerful model in the entire P3 range. Four MPPT inputs of two strings each (eight strings total), a high-voltage LiFePO₄ battery in the 180–950 V range, charge and discharge current up to 240 A. Efficiency 98.5%, nominal output current 190 A per phase. Operation from -30 °C, IP65, 5-year warranty.
125 kilowatts: the top of the range
This is the most powerful single-enclosure unit FOX ESS offers in the P3 series. Above this level the answer is parallel connection of several such modules, not a search for an even more powerful single model.
For a project of this scale — a large production facility, a greenhouse complex, a logistics centre with its own generation — this means even the first stage of the station already approaches megawatt scale together with its battery fleet.
The same 730 × 1060 × 305 millimetre enclosure and 120-kilogram mass as the smaller Plus models — the manufacturer scales power within one platform, so the mounting point stays identical across the whole range.

190 amperes: an individual connection project
Current at this level rules out any standard connection procedure. Cable, switchgear, a transformer substation or distribution point are calculated individually for the specific site and agreed with the network operator as a separate project.
At this level it is worth costing the terms of selling surplus from the outset — tariff, contract, commercial metering requirements — so the whole station's economics are clear before equipment is procured.
240 amperes of exchange and a battery fleet
A charge and discharge current up to 240 amperes with a 180–950 volt battery gives tens of kilowatts of exchange power — enough even for the range's most powerful unit with no restriction from the inverter.
At this scale the battery usually consists of several independent stacks housed in a dedicated room or container. Three CAN channels allow them to be managed without losing state data for each one individually.
Parallel operation and monitoring
If more than 125 kilowatts is needed, units in the Plus series connect in parallel with automatic load distribution — the standard approach for megawatt-scale stations, providing both scaling and redundancy.
The standard FoxCloud app shows generation from each of the eight strings separately; Modbus TCP and RTU are available for integration with commercial metering systems.
125 kilowatts is the top of the FOX ESS P3 range for the largest industrial projects. Write to us about the scale of your site: we will prepare a full technical calculation and options for parallel connection.
