FOX ESS P3-10.0-SH - three-phase hybrid inverter 10 kW.
Description FOX ESS P3-10.0-SH
FOX ESS P3-10.0-SH is a three-phase hybrid inverter rated at 10 kW, two MPPT inputs, a high-voltage LiFePO₄ battery in the 100–800 V range, three CAN channels, generator support. Efficiency 97.9%, nominal output current 15.2 A per phase. IP65, 5-year warranty.
Ten kilowatts: a workshop or a house with machine tools
Three-phase motors mean compressors, circular saws, lathes, welding equipment. All of this is typical load for a home workshop or a small production room attached to a house, and a single-phase inverter simply does not suit such a set.
Ten kilowatts of rating gives margin for several machine tools to run at once alongside the house's domestic load. Distribution across three phases means each individual motor draws current only from its own line, without overloading its neighbours.
Many networks apply a simplified connection procedure for installations up to ten kilowatts — without extended design documentation and lengthy approval. The P3-10.0-SH sits exactly at that mark, delivering maximum capacity within the simplified procedure.

Starting surge from workshop equipment
A circular saw or a compressor draws several times its rating for a fraction of a second at start-up. The difference between nominal and maximum current is precisely the margin for such surges, and for a workshop with several units of equipment that margin is critically important.
If the workshop has one especially powerful machine with a heavy start, it is worth considering a soft starter separately — inexpensive relative to the cost of the whole system, but it removes the burden of the starting current entirely.
A wide battery range and generator
A battery range of 100–800 volts and three independent CAN channels allow capacity to grow in stages, and generator support covers long winter outages when daylight is insufficient for a full charge.
Type II surge protection on DC and AC, plus all-pole residual current monitoring, matter particularly for a site with equipment sensitive to voltage spikes.
Control through FoxCloud
The app shows generation per MPPT input, battery state and the workshop's current consumption in real time, and history over any period helps assess how much energy actually goes to running equipment versus the house's domestic needs.
Modbus TCP and RTU are available for your own automation: you can tie the start of energy-intensive equipment to the moment solar generation exceeds current consumption, saving on electricity bought from the grid.
Ten kilowatts is the maximum capacity within the simplified connection procedure, ideal for a workshop with machine tools. Send us the equipment list and peak loads: we will check whether a soft starter is needed and calculate the battery.
