GoodWe GW25K-SDT-30 - three-phase grid-tied inverter 25 kW.
Description GoodWe GW25K-SDT-30
GoodWe GW25K-SDT-30 is a three-phase grid-tied inverter rated at 25 kW with two MPPT inputs, a maximum input voltage of 1100 V and intelligent cooling. Efficiency 98.5%, nominal output current 36.1 A per phase. IP66, 5-year warranty.
Twenty-five kilowatts of generation without a battery
For sites with predictable consumption and no critical need for backup — a processing workshop, a greenhouse, a warehouse with refrigeration running the day shift — a grid-tied unit of this rating gives the best economics without paying for storage.
At this level generation can fully cover the daytime load of a medium-sized production facility, with surplus sold to the grid or offsetting consumption during peak tariff hours. Every kilowatt of panels invested pays back faster than in a hybrid system of the same capacity.
If backup does become necessary later, an AC-coupled storage unit can be added to the inverter without reworking the already installed part of the system.

Long strings at 1100 volts
The high maximum input voltage allows longer series strings of panels than the hybrid models in the ET series. For a twenty-five-kilowatt array this is a noticeable saving on DC cable cross-section thanks to lower operating current.
This is especially noticeable in winter: cold weather raises the panels' open-circuit voltage, and the voltage headroom keeps the system safely under the inverter's limit on a frosty, sunny morning.
Monitoring and scalability
The standard SEMS Portal app shows generation from each MPPT input separately, history over any period and current efficiency. Connectivity covers both Wi-Fi and wired LAN, and Modbus TCP and RTU are available for integration with metering systems.
Protection class IP66 withstands powerful pressure washdown, relevant for sites where the grounds are cleaned with high-pressure washers. When more capacity is needed, units in this series connect in parallel without stepping up to heavier industrial equipment.
A shared design platform across the series
Compared with the 8-kilowatt grid-tied unit in the same series, the input voltage and MPP range here are identical — the manufacturer keeps one string-design platform across the whole SDT range. That means an array designer applies the same string-length formulas regardless of which model in the series is ultimately chosen for a given capacity.
For a site already experienced with a smaller unit in the series, moving up to twenty-five kilowatts does not change the logic of the DC-side installation — only the number of parallel strings changes, not their configuration.
Twenty-five kilowatts of grid-tied generation is a solution for production with a steady daytime schedule. Tell us about your roof area and the tariff terms for selling surplus: we will calculate the real payback period.
