GoodWe GW110K-GT - three-phase grid-tied inverter 110 kW.
Description GoodWe GW110K-GT
GoodWe GW110K-GT is a central three-phase grid-tied inverter rated at 110 kW with ten MPPT inputs of two strings each (twenty strings total), smart fan cooling and an operating range from -30 °C. Efficiency 98.8%, nominal output current 158.8 A per phase. IP66, 5-year warranty.
Twenty strings: maximum granularity in the GT range
Compared with the smaller GW100K-GT, this unit gains two extra MPPT inputs — ten instead of eight, meaning twenty independent strings instead of sixteen. Within the same enclosure and mass, this is the highest level of array granularity in GoodWe's central inverter range.
For an industrial station, this many independent channels is justified when the array sits across several separate buildings, fields with differing terrain, or areas of differing panel orientation within one project.
Every extra string is a chance to isolate one more panel group and not lose its generation to being next to a section of different orientation or shading.

174 amperes: infrastructure requirements
A maximum output current at this level requires careful checking of the station's entire electrical infrastructure — cable cross-section, breaker ratings and allocated grid connection capacity.
At this level design is not led by a single electrician but by a team combining the station's technical calculation with the connection paperwork. We support both parts of the process together to avoid delays at the interface.
Smart cooling and node reliability
Controlled fans run at full power only when real thermal demand requires it, not continuously — extending the node's service life and keeping noise moderate most of the time the station operates.
An operating range from -30 °C permits placement in unheated technical buildings even in regions with severe winters, without additional room heating.
Parallel operation and monitoring
For stations needing more than a hundred and ten kilowatts, units in the GT series connect in parallel with automatic load distribution — scaling capacity and providing redundancy during servicing or a fault in one unit.
The standard SEMS Portal app shows generation from each of the twenty strings separately; Modbus TCP and RTU are available for integration with commercial metering systems.
Protection class and enclosure longevity
IP66 withstands powerful pressure washdown — an important characteristic for a station node often housed in a technical building with elevated humidity, or standing outdoors on the site of a ground-mounted station.
The aluminium-alloy enclosure is built for decades of operation without corrosion, even under high humidity or in coastal regions with salt-laden air.
Twenty independent MPPT strings is the maximum granularity for complex industrial sites. Send us the full array layout: we will spread the panels across channels so no group loses generation.
