GoodWe GW100K-GT - three-phase grid-tied inverter 100 kW.
Description GoodWe GW100K-GT
GoodWe GW100K-GT is a central three-phase grid-tied inverter rated at 100 kW with eight MPPT inputs of two strings each (sixteen strings total), smart fan cooling and an operating range from -30 °C. Efficiency 98.8%, nominal output current 144.3 A per phase. IP66, 5-year warranty.
Central inverter class: a new scale
The GW100K-GT opens a separate GT line — central inverters designed for industrial solar plants covering tens of thousands of square metres of panels. Dimensions of 930 × 650 × 300 millimetres and a mass of 85 kilograms reflect that scale: this is no longer a unit for one roof, but a node of a large station.
Sixteen independent strings allow servicing an array split into numerous groups of differing orientation — a typical situation for ground-mounted station fields or large industrial complexes with a complex-shaped roof.
An operating range from -30 °C — five degrees lower than the standard -25 °C of other series — suits the unit to unheated technical buildings and sites in northern regions without additional heating.

Smart fan cooling instead of passive
Unlike the MT series with passive cooling, the GW100K-GT uses a smart fan system. At this power density — a hundred kilowatts in a comparatively compact enclosure — purely passive heat dissipation is no longer sufficient.
A noise level up to 65 decibels means the unit is placed in a technical room or a dedicated station building, away from living or office space. The fans are intelligently controlled and run at full power only when real thermal demand requires it.
Selling surplus as the basis of the project's economics
At a hundred kilowatts, the conversation is no longer about a site's own consumption but about a full generating station selling produced energy to the grid under a tariff or contract with the operator. This is a separate business project with its own payback.
We support this part of the process alongside the station's technical calculation — from estimating expected generation to preparing connection documents.
Parallel operation for large-scale stations
For sites needing more than a hundred kilowatts, units in the GT series connect in parallel with automatic load distribution. This provides redundancy: the failure or scheduled maintenance of one unit does not stop the whole station.
The standard SEMS Portal app shows generation from each of the sixteen strings separately; Modbus TCP and RTU are available for integration with commercial metering systems.
A hundred kilowatts of central generation is the level of an industrial solar plant. Write to us about the scale of your project and plans for selling energy: we will prepare a full technical configuration calculation.
