A newer generation is not the same thing as AcuSense, and the specification of this particular item lists motion detection only, with no classification of the target into person or vehicle. The practical consequence is simple: the camera reacts to any change inside the frame — a branch moving in the wind, a cloud shadow, a cat on the path, headlights through the fence slats — so the owner collects dozens of alerts per night. What happens next is predictable and repeats in most such installations: after a week the push notifications get switched off, and the camera stops being a security device and becomes a recorder that simply fills the archive in case something happens. Part of the problem is treated with settings — narrow detection zones covering only the gate and the walkway, a higher sensitivity threshold, a time schedule — and the rest is solved either by an NXI series recorder that runs the analytics on the channel itself, or by a camera that classifies targets on board.
