GoodWe GW10KN-ET - Three-phase hybrid inverter 10 kW
Description GoodWe GW10KN-ET
The model is well suited for both large-area private homes and commercial facilities - shops, offices, workshops, service stations or small industries, where power stability and control of electricity costs are important.
The power of 10 kW is enough to confidently cover the daily needs of a facility with energy-intensive equipment. The three-phase circuit provides a uniform load across the phases, without distortions and drawdowns. This is especially noticeable where pumps, compressors, machine tools, air conditioning systems or electric boilers operate.
The manufacturer paid special attention to installation. The inverter does not create unnecessary difficulties for the installer. The wall mounting is well thought out, access to the power terminals is convenient, all communications are brought up from below - neatly and without a "web" of cables. The batteries are connected via quick connectors, without complex circuits. Commissioning is carried out through the application: basic parameters are set in a few steps, the system automatically determines compatible batteries. As a result, installation takes much less time than with solutions of previous generations.
The inverter supports parallel operation. This means that the system can be scaled - add one or more inverters and increase the total power. This approach is convenient when the facility grows or a station is initially built "with a margin for the future." With parallel operation, the devices synchronize with each other and evenly distribute the load.
As for practical application, there are many scenarios. The most common option is a house with backup power during outages. The inverter switches the load to the batteries in milliseconds, and the equipment continues to work without rebooting. The second scenario is maximum self-consumption: during the day, energy goes to the needs of the facility, the excess goes to the battery. Peak-shaving is also relevant, when expensive peak electricity is partially replaced by solar and battery power.
The model integrates well into automation systems. Monitoring is available via the SEMS portal, but if necessary, the inverter connects to external energy management platforms. Modbus, RS485, TCP/IP are supported. Thanks to this, it can be easily integrated into Home Assistant and similar smart home systems. This opens up automatic control scenarios: battery charging priority, smart load connection, night/day consumption profiles.
The inverter is designed to work with high-voltage LiFePO4 batteries. Most often it is combined with GoodWe Lynx Home F and D series batteries, as well as BYD Battery-Box Premium or Pylontech Force H2. The high-voltage architecture provides lower currents, better efficiency and less heat loss. The inverter correctly interacts with the battery BMS: controls temperature, balancing, charge modes.
In short, the GW10KN-ET is an inverter that covers several tasks at once: generation, reserve, storage and energy management. It is equally relevant in new projects and when modernizing existing solar power plants. It is a working tool for those who want stability, flexibility and predictable electricity costs without unnecessary technical complexity in operation.
